Dear Camden,
Flat Aubie came to visit Forsyth, Georgia which is a small town near Macon, Georgia. It is about 50 miles from the big city of Atlanta. Forsyth was named after a man who was a governor, senator, and secretary of state, John Forsyth. Once a year in the spring we have a Forsythia Festival where for 3 days the people here have a lot of fun with games, rides, food, and dances in the street! Flat Aubie then went to visit Indian Springs Park which is the oldest park in the nation. In the pictures I have sent, it explains how years ago the Creek Indians used the water to heal their people. I hope you and your classmates enjoy hearing about my town!
Love, Your Cousin,
Muriel

The Forsythia Festival sounds like a fun thing to do. Maybe Flat Aubie can make a return trip in March and go this year. It sounds a lot like our City Fest at Kiesal Park.
